Sweet Baboo was “rearranging” part of our rock wall and yanked this very odd shaped rock out of it. It’s a real true rock, not concrete — but it’s got this hook or lip shape. Any idea what this might be or what would have caused this? I’m empty!!

Gosh, I was hoping by now that someone would have come on here and told us how that rock could get that way! Wondering about these kinds of things will drive me bonkers - I’m such a dork!
Maybe I’ll go tell my sister to have her ’sweetie’ come here and look. He’s a scientist of some sort and seems to know lots of things about nature. WE NEED TO KNOW.

Marcy, have you had any luck at figuring this out? My sister forwarded my email to her sweetie - but told me he is swamped at work right now, as he’s leaving the end of the month. And that he is a biologist, not a geologist - but that he may answer me in time - as he knows much and likes to share. So we’ll see. I hope. I hate these mysteries.

So far, nothing. If I don’t get any feedback, I might just have Ed dig it back up again and take a closer look — maybe there is somebody in our area that could shed some light on it. Hope your weekend was good!!
