Lovely photo. Once upon a time Niagara Falls was a major tourist destination and you heard about lots of people going there. Don't hear about it as much any more. But, it's a wonderful place. It's been a while since I've been there, but the thing that struck me was the difference between the two countries. The Canadian side was all developed in parklands and gardens, while the American side was soooo tacky.

From the falls, the area to the west of Toronto toward Kitchener-Waterloo is also very nice. And, if you like the color of the water, you should go to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and see Lake Michigan and Lake Superior on a good day. Beautiful colors in the water.

The falls are so powerful, they are awe inspiring. I visited once and will never forget the experience. Come see my high vistas from up the lake at http://PowellRiverBooks.blogspot.com - Margy
