National parks are some of the last natural things we have, that won’t be encroached on by urban sprawl, turned into condos or “improved” for more shopping and parking. Our vacation at Acadia National Park was the most relaxing time we have had in ages. No cell phone service, no internet, no cable television, totally unconnected!! If you decide to vacation there, the views and sounds of the ocean, mountains, and small villages will be etched in your memory for years and years to come. This picture was taken just off Loop Road, a mostly one way road that runs around some of the perimeter of Acadia National Park.

What a beautiful scene. The water looks so calm.
Happy weekend!

Looks so natural and peaceful – I had to check where this park is – and it really looks like a place to foreget modern times.
Excellent Photo
