Friday Fill-Ins #69

1. When I fell in love I knew it was the real thing! I couldn’t tell up from down, left from right, stumbling over my own feet with joy!!
2. I walk around with a goofy smile on my face when the flowers bloom and it heats up outside! Needless to say, I walk around with a frown all winter.
3. Oh no! The internet connection is down, but I have lots of projects that I can start working on.  It will probably take a dead internet connection to get started on them, too!! I spend way too much time on this thing.
4. “The Office” is the craziest tv show ever. But it is definitely an acquired taste — I just started watching it this year (third season?) after trying off and on to understand it.  Sometimes you just shouldn’t concentrate so much on something.
5. Cheese and crackers make a great meal! Especially when dipped in tequila.
6. Sweet Baboo would be a very unhappy camper without a garden. He never realized how much he liked growing things until we bought our house and had room to try gardening.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to closing my eyes and going to sleep, tomorrow my plans include doing some yard sales in the AM and sewing in the PM, and Sunday, I want to do some shopping and lunching in Sturbridge, MA.  Happy weekend, y’all!!

Friday Fill-Ins #65

1. Some relationships are meant to only last for a short time. They bring something to you that you need at that point in your life and then once their job is done, they slowly disintegrate.
2. Brad Paisley is the last concert I saw; it was at the Big E in Springfield, MA in September 2006 and it was wicked awesome!!!
3. Spring should be shorter: Summer seems so far away!!
4. Oh no! I forgot to buy half & half after work!! Now I’ll have to go out later and I’m already in my jammies……
5. I’ve recently started sleeping much better. Darn that double edged sword; now I’m having more hot flashes in place of the resolved sleeping patterns. Can’t have everything working properly at once, now can we? Someone up there is having a good laugh at my expense!!
6. My GrandDolly never fails to make me smile. Whatta face!! Everything that she does is a miracle to me.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m (not really) looking forward to (sigh) going out to buy half & half, tomorrow my plans include going to Wright’s in Sturbridge to hopefully buy some cord for the drawstring bags I am making, and Sunday, I want to work on aforementioned bags!!

Friday Fill-ins #63

1. Contact may cause extreme itching accompanied by a woe is me attitude. (poison ivy — there haven’t been too many summers go by that I don’t get covered by it.).
2. The parties hereto do mutually agree to disagree.
3. Disney parks are something that I’ve never been to, nor do I care to..
4. A nice cup of coffee and a foot massage sounds really good right about now!
5. I positively burn with rage at rude people. Who do they think they are anyway?.
6. Looking at my daughter and her daughter always makes me smile
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to starting some sewing, tomorrow my plans include finishing aforementioned sewing and Sunday, I want to cut Sweet Baboo’s hair, run my Wal-Mart errands early and spend the afternoon making a lunch bag and makeup bag!!

Friday Fill-Ins #62

1. Ahhhh, it’s so nice to be able to enjoy the weekend!! Now if I could just figure out how to slow it down so that I can savor it!!
2. One of my favorite things on my desk or bureau is a picture of Sweet Baboo when he was a baby and his picture taken in his Marine blues. He looks so hot in that uniform!
3. Japanese Cherry Blossom is my favorite lotion/perfume!! I wonder why Bath and Body Works doesn’t make powder?
4. The beach is my favorite place to sit and read. Read, eat, doze, recharge. Ahhhh!!!
5. Peanut butter and blueberry preserves is delicious! Especially on toast. It’s my fallback when I can’t figure out what to eat.
6. I love to watch George Clooney in movies. Am I the only one that thinks he’s funnier than all get out in the Ocean movies?  I mention his name at work and the looks that I get are priceless.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight (Saturday) I’m looking forward to baking a cake for Sweet Baboo, tomorrow(Sunday) my plans include probably going to Finders Keepers, and Sunday, I want to, well I’m not sure what I want do but it will probably include sleeping late and messing around with some yarn!

Friday Fill-Ins #60

1. The return trip home is the best thing about traveling.

2. I love a nice fluffy blanket warmed in the dryer when I’m cold.

3. I often use exercise as a stress reliever.

4. I’m reading Stern Men by Elizabeth Gilbert right now; I am not completely sure yet if I like it, but the longer I read it, the more sure I am that I don’t.

5. My adolescence is something I dislike talking about.

6. When I visited New Mexico, I most looked forward to seeing Carlsbad Caverns and I wasn’t disappointed.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to doing some weekend blogging, tomorrow my plans include working Saturday morning and loafing Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday, I want to — well, I’m not sure what yet. It will probably include some form of wool and pointy sticks.

1. I’m looking forward to starting to knit my own socks this weekend.
2. Scotland is a place I always wanted to visit and haven’t made it there yet.
3. I’ve fallen in love with handpainted yarn.

5. Addiction for me used to be fabric, now it’s yarn.
6. The Big Bang Theory guys crack me up!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to just relaxing and catching up on my blog, tomorrow my plans include some long put off housework, and Sunday, I want to sleep!

1. Once I was a very unhappy person with a huge chip on my shoulder..
2. I try to be as healthy as I can, because there is no greater waste of time than being sick.
3. Today at work I did all of my every day stuff plus worked on my rescheduling project.
4. What’s all the mudslinging that the candidates all about? Cripes, I get so SICK of it
5. If I make a mistake I own up to it and then fix it.
6. When I woke up this morning, I thought YAY FRIDAY!!!!! Eight hours and then 3 days off!!.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to working out, tomorrow my plans include having lunch with my daughter and GrandDolly and Sunday, I want to just relax and knit!

1. The last compliment I got was from inland empire girl: she said that I make her day.
2. I’m reading Barefoot by Elin Hildebrand. Haven’t decided if I like it yet or not.
3. I woke up today and thought FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY!!!!!! YAY!! HERE COME DA JUDGE!!
4. Why does winter seem to last until the twelfth of never, while summer is just a long weekend?
5. The last thing I ate was peanut butter on saltine crackers, washed down with Dunkin Donuts iced coffee. If you mean real food, it was shells and sauce.
   
6. January… it sucketh!!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to spending time with Sweet Baboo and doing some knitting, tomorrow my plans include buying a potty chair for my GrandDolly, and Sunday, I want to just do a general straightening up and putting away in my house!

1. Snow is beautiful to look at when it’s falling and I’m warm and snug in my little house.
2. I’m looking forward to watching GrandDolly opening gifts on Christmas morning.

Friday Fill-in #49

1. I love and hate Christmas. Love it for the notion of what it should be, hate it for it’s commercialized idiocy.
2. Teeny white lights is my favorite color for the Christmas tree lights.
3. The candles in the window have white bulbs. So boring, I know.
4. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is one of my most favorite Christmas movies. Just love the Griswold family.
5. My favorite Christmas lyric(s) is/are “me and my bum”, from the Little Drummer Boy. I know those aren’t the real lyrics, but that’s how a gal I work with likes to sing it. It always cracks me up..
6. I’m dreaming of a a decent night’s sleep. Maybe two..
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to starting to knit a bag, tomorrow my plans include meeting friends for dinner and Sunday, I want to do some more knitting on the bag and Sissy’s socks and relax!
