Roseland Park — Where Peace and Quiet Live

Standard

Sweet Baboo and I will often take a skip up to Roseland Park in Woodstock, he to fish and I to walk and/or take pictures. Only about 5 minutes away, it is private property (ie, not a state park) that is open to Woodstock and surrounding towns. Donated by the Bowen family in the late 1800’s, repairs and upkeep are now being done by donations from the community. It is so lovely to walk in fresh air, hearing only birdsong and children laughing, with an occasional jet flying overhead on it’s way to Boston.
