Sunday Scribblings #82 – Hospital

Standard

This post will be short and sweet.

Most thoughts about hospitals deal with pain, sorrow, hopelessness — but when my daughter was young, if we went by the hospital in our town, she would always ask me, “Mommy, how many mommies do you think are having their babies in there right now?” You’ve just got to love a child’s optimism!!!

  1. My hospital experiences personally have almost all ultimately ended in, if not outright joy, contentment. I get fixed up. The people are mostly good souls. Now, I’m not advocating hanging out unnecessarily in hospitals, but I do recommend looking at the positives, just like your daughter does.
