This post will be short and sweet.
Most thoughts about hospitals deal with pain, sorrow, hopelessness — but when my daughter was young, if we went by the hospital in our town, she would always ask me, “Mommy, how many mommies do you think are having their babies in there right now?” You’ve just got to love a child’s optimism!!!
Ahh!
Hospitals do have lovely things happen in them!
out of the mouths of babes… simple trusting beauty….
This is one of the first things that came to my mind when I read the prompt too! Interesting how people immediately have such negative perceptions on this topic.
A kid sure can put a shine on things.
Thanks for the smile.
Take care,
Frances
For sure, it’s best to remember the good things, but sometimes it’s hard to forget the bad things that happen/ed in hospitals.
Nice, very nice post!
That’s very refreshing, like a splash of fun!
Just Love all those new babies!!!
That is one positive aspect of hospitals!
My hospital experiences personally have almost all ultimately ended in, if not outright joy, contentment. I get fixed up. The people are mostly good souls. Now, I’m not advocating hanging out unnecessarily in hospitals, but I do recommend looking at the positives, just like your daughter does.
